Sizes use decimal units, where 1 TB is 1,000 GB. A month is counted as one twelfth of a year, about 30.4 days. Storage needed is the data you will have, divided by how full you are willing to let the storage get. Growth is rarely steady, so check your real usage from time to time and leave some margin.
